Asalamualaikum and Hello everyone,
During the first meeting, i didn't come. So i have nothing to write actually on what i supposed to get during that day. Thanks to my friends who told me few things on what had happened during that day. I was being told for this particular class, we must log-in to MOOC at openlearning.com and register for this course. I met one of my senior before this class was started and i did ask him about this course. He told me that this course will be quite fun because we will have to do movie shooting and we will do photography. When he told me that for their batch last year, they went to Penang and i was really excited and looking forward to where my batch will be going to for the photoshoot process.
But of course, there are certain things need to be considered. Photography is not easy as what most of the people thought. But thats why i am here, we are here. To learn, and to slowly understand and know how to do photography and apply it into the education.

Asalamualaikum and Hello everyone,
Today was our second class. Dr.Mohd Khalid came into the computer lab and surprisingly we had a bit of ice-breaking session with him. We finally met Dr.Fariza which used to be our lecturer during our first semester. She told us a lot of important things about this course and she came out with really good explanation on what will be happening for the course as in general.
We are asked to once again use the application of internet to be part of the lesson. She gave us freedom to use any medium. Well, it makes me to think in a split of a second of using this blog which i've created last semester. The course outline seems to have a minor differences but the rest i hope will be just the same.

Asalamualaikum and Hello everyone,
What was happen today, Dr Roseni came and entered the class. She's the one that conducted the lecture and also she explained to us on how to do regarding the movie making processes and she also showed us some of sample videos which were made by our seniors from the previous batch.
Apart from that, before i forgot, she also gave us some merchandise/ "ole2" from Sarawak. She also brought one container full of delicious cake. Really delicious :D
Today, we are being exposed on the topic of web technology. She telling us about the importance of web technology especially in the content of education, on how technology is related to education and why technology is related with education.
In overall, i would say i really enjoy the class. Nothing much i can write. Thanks and 'till we meet again. :D

Asalamualaikum and Hello everyone,.
So, basically what happened today was that, we are asked to draw the storyline/storyboard on a piece of "Mahjong Paper" and then after everyone's done, we have to present in front of the class.
We are actually trained to think creatively to design our own storyline/storyboard. As in my group, everyone is trying to come out with individual ideas and thoughts on the issue that we picked up. We picked "How To Manage Your Financial Wisely As A University Student" as our main storyline and the title of our short movie is "404 Money Not Found".
As you can see on these pictures, we decided to ask Faizah to draw on the storyboard as we helped her on pointing out what would happen in every scene. She was really good on drawing. Like seriously really good thou. Look at these.
Finally, its the time for the presentation. We gave explanation in overall on what are our main storyline and what will happen in every scene. We told the class on why we choose this topic and what is the impact of the story generally to the university's students in Malaysia. Like what Dr.Rosseni and Dr.Fariza have said, whats really important is the rational of the video and how it can make people to think better and to solve problem that we highlighted earlier. Of course, we are being given some suggestions and we are asked to improvise our storyline so that it will be more educative and informative.

Asalamualaikum and Hello everyone.
Well today the lecture went like usually. Dr Fariza gave the lecture on the Classification Of Educational Media And Practice. She pointed out some information on the slides projected on the white screen by the LCD projector.
There are in total of 8 medias :

8. Educational Games
Literally, she asked us to select one media of teaching and discuss it within our group members and later on she will call us to present it in front of the class. Seems like i'm alone, i cannot do the discussion. Luckily group 5 picked me up to be in their group. We are discussing about the LCD projector on when to use it and how to us it.

By discussing on this issue, we realised that we are more open on thinking about the importance of using LCD Projector. Instead of that, we are more likely to widen our knowledge by sharing our knowledge within the group members.

This week, Dr.Khalid in-charged of giving the lecture. He was giving a lecture about the ;
- Principle of Multimedia
- Audio Sound Editing
- Introduction To Video Production
Firstly, Dr.Khalid showing us two different videos. He asked us, what are the advantages and disadvantages of both videos. Here are the links for both videos.

After done watching 'em, we were asked to present in front of the class on the advantages and disadvantages for both videos.
Next, we move to the next topic/subtopic. As part of our learning processes, we need to produce a 'short film' (as mentioned earlier by Dr.Rosseni and Dr.Fariza), i strongly believe that how you handle and manage your video is really important. By learning these topics, it will help us as in terms of producing short film by implementing those skills.
First of all, we are asked as in our respective groups to produce a background music by implementing the skills that being taught by Dr.Khalid on how to use few applications. He told us to select 3-4 songs in youtube and convert them using listentoyoutube.com (convert to what? what was that? Later i'll tell you).
For the Audio/Sound Editing, Dr.Khalid introduced to me(personally) and all of us(generally) what was called 'audacity' and listentoyoutube.com. For the audacity, its a new stuff for me. Personally, i never use this application before. Right after giving a try on it, i realised that it was really fun to use. Meanwhile, listentoyoutube.com is an application (i guess), its an online application available for you to convert any youtube videos into mp3 (songs format). By just copying the link on the video from youtube like this
and then, paste the link into the given space and click 'go'
Right after that, you may download the song (after converted) and save it safely inside your drive.
By the way, how to get the audacity? Its easy guys, just go to google.com and search for 'audacity'. Click the first one (as in picture below) or just type www.audacityteam.org/
Next, you'll see the main page of the web and click 'Download Audacity 2.1.2' (in green colour)
Once you've clicked that, you can set to download it suitable to your operating system (Windows/Mac/GNU/Linux).
Then, once you got it, you can run it like the other applications (just follow the instruction). Once you've done, get yourself some space 'cause you're about to blow the world with amazing mashup of songs..hahaha (feeling yourself like a DJ, huh?!) XD
Well, lets be serious. So far, i feel really happy that i know these applications. I really hope they can help me and my team in producing the short film. Like what we should know that we are now living in the world where IT and technology have becoming the heart of parts of life. This probably will motivate a lot of people to produce good video or 'VLOG' as this VLOG thingy becoming popular right now. What i mean by this is that, most wanna be 'VLOGGERS' out there perhaps can consider on learning the skills of how to produce a good VLOG perhaps by get themselves know about audacity. They can make their own mashed-up backup songs for their videos. Audacity for me is very easy to use, user-friendly, and not so complicated thou. It just you have to know which part of the song you really want and which part of the song you don't. I think thats all for this week..thank you and Asalamualaikum :D

Asalamualaikum and hello everyone,
Today's class, Dr. Khalid teach about how to make videos on movie maker. After downloading and installing the application, he taught us how to use movie maker step by step in order to produce a video consists of different multimedia elements such as audio and visual (video:moving pictures).
For me, this process really help me in order to use the media or the application more often. BTW, this is the video which i made using movie maker. I downloaded some videos from youtube and using the features on movie maker, i combine those videos and created this. Hope you guys enjoy yourself on watching it :D

Asalamualaikum and hello everyone,
So today, we are learning about "PHOTOGRAPHYYY". Dr. Fariza shared so many information regarding this topic and she did shown us some of the pictures she took while travelling to different countries around the globe. She also shown us some pictures while she's doing an outdoor shooting with her previous students. You guys can check 'em out here --> Photography Outdoor Shooting Session.
The higher the number of the aperture, the smaller the size of the circle (referring to the picture above). Which means, it will allow less amount of light and this will affect the depth of field which will not help the camera to have a better focus on the main object.
Next, the depth of field (DOF). It is also called the focus range. It means the distance between the nearest and the farthest objects in a scene that appear acceptably sharp in an image.
Using the same photo, we can see that the one with the aperture of f1.4 has the best photo which we can see that the object are really clear and the background are blurred. This shows that, the area of DOF appeared in higher intensity focuses on the object itself to make it outstanding.
Apart from this, we also asked to create an online photo sharing account whether with 'flickr' or 'Picasa'. I decided to create an account under flickr because i found it linked with my yahoo account. Thus, this will make things a lot more easier for me :D
So today, officially i'm using flickr account for the first time and i've been sharing few photos inside it. Check 'em out here guys --> My flickr account !
For me, flickr is very easy to use, it is user-friendly and yet minimalist in its own way. You can see lots of amazing photos captured by different people from around the globe. This really will help your skill in taking photo (perhaps) by looking out some amazing photos shared here.
So in conclusion, i've learned few things today:
1. I learn what is aperture, depth of field, and focused object.
2. I learn how to use flickr.
3. I learn that photography is not that easy..hahaha
Talking about photography, i can't wait for the outdoor photography fieldwork at Putrajaya this upcoming May 14th. See ya next time XOXO

Asalamualaikum and hello everyone,
So, today we are asked to present (do a pitching) about our progress or to be more specific we are asked to re-present our story board. Well my group's storyboard not having so much changes from our original storyboard. It's only the climax and parts towards the ending that we think of changing 'em a bit.
Towards the ending part, we plan to make put some suggestions from us on how to manage our financial wisely. Next week during the class, we will be showing the trailer for our video. Just wait guys :D
While the actual video presentation will be during the Edutechnovation Day, so we actually still have quiet some time and there might be changes time to time regarding our storyboard and the video in a total production itself. So, we will be updating time to time in regards of the changes and the updates during the class. For sure, sooner, i'll be updating the storyboard...

Today, we are back with our updates on our video. Basically, we don't have much changes from our last week's updates on our video. For this week, we came out with a new upgraded storyboard. This storyboard consists of several scenes and there are some scenes that we decided not to let everyone see that first as we want to save the best for the Edutechnovation Day. (June, 03rd)
From this process, we learn how to plan and as well to improve our storyboard. Opinions and advice given by our classmates and lecturers are very helpful in order to make sure that the video will be fun to be watched and at the same time follows the direction in which it is suppose to be done. Thanks everyone for your opinions and advice. We will consider what you said in our post production process. :D

well today we are free to do anything as there are no class. I went to the computer lab and did some work regarding the flickr thingy and also editing process for my group's video. I use this opportunity to explore the internet and the digital world by using the accommodation given and offered in the computer lab.
